how tough are polaris atv transmissions? can they take this?

Im looking to put a 340 or 440 motor on my old trailboss, but will the additional power havoc the tranny?

a trailbosss/trailblazer/etc… polaris atv motors for the most part (excluding the predator and prohibit), are barely like snowmobile motors, no gears, no trans basically of the motor whatsoever, setup just now like a briggs & stratton 8 hp motor with a embrace b influence that drives a belt. and 340/440′s are pair cylinders this i understand because ive owned both. the development of putting such a motor on this quad would be at most to eliminate the old motor, fab up motor mounts and keep the belt in columns d align-then another completely up electrical/nutriment parentage/etc. my cast doubt is, can the tranny take that make of addiction or will it give up the fight?
