Motor Trend has developed the most complete for 2015 Mustang rumors again. And they are probably not too far from base. We've all heard the new Mustang will have conclusive independent rear suspension, be smaller, more Euro-friendly and sophisticated. That's all fantastic. But for some of us who are concerned that the new Mustang will be too European in design and function, can be cooled a little, because the emphasis seems to be leaning toward keeping the faithful happy and make the Mustang more attractive to a wide audience.

The feds have opened a prodrome investigation into complaints that 2011 and 2012 Mustangs with the 5.0 V-8 and the 6-step on the gas manual have potentially dangerous shifting problems.

The National Highway Freight Safety Administration's defect office has received 32 complaints alleging an "unexpected incompetence to shift into gear."
