The 17, who need not be named, was competing in the Grand Prix Minimoto Manfeild in Feilding car last week when he saw two teenagers off patterns on minibikes allegedly stolen merits, after 14 hours on Tuesday of last week.

Pit bull attack sends Deerfield Beach boy to hospital

DEERFIELD Strand, Fla. -- Three boys playing outside early Sunday evening were charged by a pit bull known to be warlike, and an 8-year-old boy was mauled before getting to safety.

Broward Sheriff's Section reports that the three boys were riding bikes and playing in the street in the 300 stump of Southeast 1 Terrace in Deerfield Beach at about 6:30 p.m. when a casual pit bull charged toward them. Knowing the dog was not friendly, the three ran to a brother's house.
